Der König des Waldes

In the card game King of the Woods, set in a medieval fantasy forest inhabited by animal folk, each player plays vassals either to their own court to score points or to one of their opponents' court. The latter will trigger special beneficial effects for the player, but that vassal's points will now score for that opponent. At the start of the game, players are dealt a random hand of different types of vassals, and they must make the best of what they have. In total, there are 11 different vassals, each with unique roles and effects. The game continues until all players have played their entire hand of cards. The player with the most points at the end is declared the winner and crowned the new King of the Woods.
